dSLR Advantages – WYSIWYG
Another of the dSLR advantages is the fact that the the composition you make is the final photo that is created. That is:
WYSIWYG – What You See Is What You Get
Or “Wussy Wig” as I like to call it!
Most non-dSLR cameras do not have a viewfinder which means you have to compose using the LCD.
The LCD is very nice to have but in bright sunlight, it will be very difficult to see.
If you cannot see the LCD it will be very difficult to compose a photo with the LCD.
The viewfinders in dSLRs offer almost 100% of frame/sensor coverage.
This means that when you see through the viewfinder, the entire image you see, is almost the entire photo.
Most non-dSLR cameras make a close approximation of what the sensor sees. When this happens, you do not have the accuracy that a dSLR’s viewfinder provides.
Love your camera. Love yourself. Love your photos.
