Beginning Tips

The Different Methods Of Photography

Photography is one of the budding fields. This field which was not popular until the early 1900s has today become one of the most sought after fields. The camera, a photographer and photography have aided many sectors of business and industry, advertising for example. Photography is a tool indispensably used by the creative field. This field is gaining a lot of popularity in the market and the demand for professional photographers is increasing at an alarming rate. This field is for those who are creative and imaginative. Many people treated photography as a hobby and later developed in to a profession. There are many types and sub fields in this profession and one of them is headshots photography

Photography is not everyone’s cup of tea. One has to possess a unique skill and talent to get noticed in this field. Each and every photographer possesses some unique and different quality than the rest and that is what makes their work recognized and appreciated. There is much more to photography then just merely clicking pictures. A lot of fine and minute details have to be taken care of in this field. It is the creativity and imagination of photographer that will help him survive in the field of headshots photography

Headshots photography is among other fields of photography such as wildlife photography, natural photography, etc. Headshots photography is similar to portrait photography where the focus is mainly on the face and facial expressions. This field is difficult compared to others because the photographer has limited area to focus on. The photographer has to try to make a lot of very little.

For a photographer to be successful his pictures have to say or convey something to the people. When people look at a headshot picture they should be able to relate to it or recognize the main aspect the photographer is trying to explain. Conveying to the people is not an easy job. In headshots photography this is difficult. As this filed concentrates on the face the photographer must know to capture the right emotions at the right time. This field of photography is very popular among the stars and celebrities who hire photographers to bring their image very neatly in front of the public.

This field of headshots photography is being taught at many popular institutions and photography schools at the end of the course the students are offered a certificate or a certified diploma. These courses also give the amateurs a chance to work in the mainstream and exhibit their talent in front of other by means of internships. If you want to become a headshots photographer and you feel that you have it in you to become one then you can start by browsing the net to get more information on photography.

Everyone has a photography dream inside of their heart.  I teach people the common methods of photography on a daily basis.

How To Choose A Digital Camera

How to choose a digital camera was created to help amateur and beginner photographers make more informed decisions when shopping for a new digital camera.

This site, Digital-SLR-Photography-Tips.com was intended for dSLR camera users and enthusiasts. However, to be fair to all photography lovers, I included sections on point-and-shoot cameras.

Click here to download the FREE eBook!

There is a lot of difference between the point-and-shoot cameras and their dSLR counterparts so make your decision carefully. Remember, the best photo is the one YOU took with a camera you had on hand!

With that in mind, I would like to introduce you to “How To Choose A Digital Camera” eBook edition.

How To Choose A Digital Camera

You head down to your local Mega store and Bam!

Every camera ever created and known to man (at just about every price level) assaults you.

how to choose a digital camera

If you are lucky enough to have someone from the store offer to help you, they probably look like they haven’t even graduated junior high and it’s doubtful they have much photographic experience….

And unlikely to help you learn how to choose a digital camera.

Learning how to choose a digital camera comes down to what you need and how you are going to use it. For some, a point-and-shoot will satisfy most uses but for the discerning consumer, the power, the precision and the control that a dSLR affords will TRUMP any of the features of a point-and-shoot camera :)

Basically, if you are going the way of the point-and-shoot, I would highly recommend Canon (first) as the brand to buy. Why?

Because I think Canon knows how to identify very much with this type of photographer. Their marketing and technologies strongly favor this group. Any Canon in the SD / ELPH series is excellent.

How To Choose A Digital Camera

And now how to choose a digital camera for dSLR lovers comes down to this: money! dSLR cameras are the “big boy” or “big girl” cameras and you can do a LOT with them.

A lot of beginners shy away from these cameras, but they open up a world of creativity that is easy to access with a few tips and a little practice.

That’s what I emphasize in digital-slr-photography-tips.com – creativity and practice!

Entry level DSLR’s include the Canon Rebel T3i series and the Nikon D5100. These are affordable cameras that you can grow with. They normally come standard with a 55mm lens and are not very fast (as far as light gathering ability goes, more about that later in the “How To Choose A Digital Camera” eBook).

But the ability to control the shutter speed and aperture are leaps and bounds beyond the point-and-shoot models.

Joe McNally Mistakes

I wanted to share something quick with you over at Joe McNally‘s blog. If you don’t know Joe, he is a very well known photographer shooting for Life, National Geographic and more.

What Joe does is excellent work and I am always inspired by his work. Recently, he posted something on his blog about “mistakes”… You can read that post here…

Joe McNally – Mistakes

In short, you will be always making mistakes in your photography but that is a price that everyone has to pay in order to advance.

It’s a “rite of passage” so to speak.

In his over 25 years of photography, Joe has made mistakes galore and he is still the among the most respected and well-known photographers today.

Your “mistakes” are the ones that will take you to where you want to be. Don’t be afraid of experimenting and learning all about photography.

Joe McNally Mistakes – Learning

As Joe McNally illustrates, mistakes are what life is about. It is not about failing but “failing forward”. The more mistakes you make, the greater your eposure.

And that’s we are all about… learning from your mistakes and moving forward. The speed at which you learn anything is dependent at how fast you fail.

Joe McNally didn’t become the great star he is today because he was perfect. He is well respected because of the fact that he made so many mistakes.

If you want to be like Joe McNally, it is best if you prepare to learn, fail and learn some more :)
